A tradie with an esky and a woman in a couture suit walk toward a private jet on an outback airstrip, each trailing a broken chain.

Escape from Australia.

Founded as a penal colony. Returning to form.

    YOUR ODDS

    One winner. Every two weeks.

Your odds depend on how many copies sell in that draw.

    Is this real?

Yes. Punt to Get Away is a real service: the guide, introductions to professionals, and the getaway draw. We're in pre-launch, so right now no money moves, no book ships and no draw is running.

    Who actually helps me leave?

We put you in touch with professionals who do this for a living: migration agents, tax advisers, lawyers and relocation specialists.

What do I get for $5?

The Sovereign Australian, the guide on how to leave properly. Every copy is also an entry to win a $100,000 package to relocate and escape Australia.

    How does the draw work?

Every copy sold is one numbered entry in the current draw. Your ticket stays pending for the two weeks, then one entry is drawn and that person wins the $100,000 getaway.

    What's a ticket of leave?

The paper that let a colonial convict work for themselves and start a life outside the system. Yours is your entry receipt.

How do you work out the days?

Income tax and Medicare levy as a share of the year, at resident rates for 2026-27, on example salaries. It's a rough estimate, and it leaves out every other tax.

How do you get 72 cents?

Take a dollar of wages in the top bracket, paid by a NSW employer over the payroll tax threshold. Payroll tax 5.45c. Income tax 45c. Medicare 2c. Super tax 1.8c, being 15% of 12% super. You keep 53c and spend it on fuel at $2.20 a litre: GST takes 4.8c, including 1.3c charged on the excise itself, and excise takes 12.9c. Stamp duty, rates and the rest come on top. It's one worked example, not your tax return.

Is this financial or migration advice?

No. The guide is general information, not personal advice. For advice on your own situation, we put you in touch with licensed professionals.
